I don't have many projects going on around here so I thought I would share a few photos I took during a winter storm two weeks ago.
.
.
Our snow was all gone, the ground was bare and spring was in the air. And then, we had a winter storm that brought with it 8 inches of snow in a matter of hours.
.
.
My sister was home for the weekend {that's her in the photo above taking a picture} and we decided to go take a walk in the snow. It was dusk, so all my photos are a little dark.

Not even a winter storm was going to stop me from enjoying my first Shamrock Shake of the year. And we had to go to two McDonald's...the shake machine apparently was broken at the first one!
.
.
{ I should be embarrassed that I ordered the larger one, but I'm not! }
.
Here's to hoping that spring is right around the corner. Have a wonderful weekend!

I'm with you, hoping Spring is just around the corner. I am tired of the cold, but not looking forward to the "stormy" part of spring. Just want warmer weather and FLOWERS along with green grass.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing the snow storm pics, I enjoyed them.
Have a God Filled Day

Oh yeah, Mother Nature gave us a tease here last week with temperatures in the mid 70's. Unfortunately today it's chilly and 45 degrees. I'm hoping Spring is just around the corner too! Love your pics! And I just might have to go to Mickey D's for a shamrock shake of my own!
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures! We, I think (touch wood), are now experiencing proper Spring weather, but these pictures are just gorgeous to look at!
ReplyDeleteLove these photos!!! Oh and a Shamrock shake?? Love!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you STILL have so much snow! These photos make me so nostalgia, growing up in New England...sigh.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo's and I am thinking we will need to go to get a Shamrock Shake today! It might be the inspiration the kids need to clean their rooms :)
ReplyDeleteHopefully spring is just around the corner!

That is a lot of snow to arrive when you thought the worst of winter was over, no wonder you enjoyed my daffodils :)
ReplyDeleteWell...snow storms do make for amazing photos!
ReplyDeleteHope y'all warm up soon, Alissa. :)
Gorgeous photos and yummy looking shake!

The other day we got a ton of snow too, and I was all set to be annoyed when I walked past a little boy (maybe 3 or 4) and saw his wonder and enjoyment of the huge snow flakes hitting him in the face. Who can still be mad after that?!?!
ReplyDeleteAlso, my friend posted this on facebook....you might enjoy!
